I love to approach in home sessions as naturally as possible. No fuss, no stress. I like to be a fly on the wall, capturing your family's story as it unfolds in front of my lens. I will gently guide you to poses and locations which look great, but I won't extensively pose you or force you to look at the camera and to say cheese - quite the opposite. You'll be encouraged to look at the camera as little as possible, with mainly interacting with your little one and your family, allowing me to observe and document your love. We will chat, laugh, and enjoy the day while capturing your family's most precious memories.
Unlike a posed newborn session, lifestyle session is suitable even for older babies, as it doesn't matter if your baby is sleeping. No posing is required of your little one so it is truly a stress free, quick and relaxed photo session, naturally bottling up all of this newborn bliss in timeless portraits you'll get to treasure forever.
A big perk of lifestyle session is that you literally do not need to have anything ready. It is just you and your baby. No props, no fuss.

When it comes to capturing your story, I love to capture all the little details too. Little hands and feet, you feeding and burping baby, the in-between moments. To truly tell ones story, details are so important.

These sessions are especially great if you have an older sibling. Some kiddos can be overwhelmed - after all it is such a big time of changes for them, welcoming a new sibling. They will feel more relaxed and themselves in their own environment, rather than being forced to pose for the camera.

Slowing down the time
Life with a newborn can be difficult in the first few days - getting used to the new normal, running on little sleep. It all can feel like such a blur. Lifestyle sessions are perfect to keep you relaxed and literally not leave your comfort of your own home. They are completely baby led, meaning your little one is the boss who determinates how the day goes. The sessions are generally way shorter than a posed session, as there is literally no pressure to have baby posed and fast asleep. These sessions usually last approx. 1.5hrs, during which we capture your family, your little baby and all the beautiful details, as well as the in-between beautiful moments of feeding, burping, snuggling - everything that goes with a life with a newborn.
