A gorgeous Autumnal evening in colourful woods, a beautiful family expecting their newest addition and a whole lot of love and laughter. That's how I would summarise this outdoor maternity photo session with the Smith family.
I had the priviledge of photographing this family ever since they were expecting the arrival of their first born, smiley and adorable Sonny. You can read about their previous sessions with me in one of my previous posts here. Fast forward and Sonny is soon to become a big brother! Mum Rachel is enjoying her second pregnancy - after all she is well equipped being an amazing midwife and hypnobirthing educator with Blissful Birthing and From Bumps To Babies! So once again we ventured into the woods to capture this beautiful time in their lives.
I was warned upon arrival that Sonny had a bad day earlier, but luckily once we ventured in to the woods and he got to explore, he became his usual smiley, happy self and shared some beautiful smiles with me. He especially loved hiding behind his daddy's legs and playing peek-a-boo with me, and of course cuddles with his mummy. Just see for yourself:
The beauty of outdoor maternity sessions is the relaxing outdoor environment, which allows kids to be themselves and parents to feel at ease.
We ensured to capture those little details and bump cuddles too!
And of course we ensured we had fun!
