When it comes to lifestyle 1 year old photography, unlike the cake smashes or formal 1st birthday photoshoots, these sessions are completely relaxed and baby led, focusing on baby, their personality and their connection with parents. Does your baby feel like they need a little snuggle? Let's capture those sweet tender cuddles. Are they smiley and happy? Let's capture them at play! There is no pressure on them to perform, making the session a fun and relaxing experience.
We started photographing Elijah and his mummy in their living room. It was a beautiful and sunny day so we took advantage of the light painting on the wall and captured some lovely moments on the sofa. Elijah was smiling through this part, especially enjoying being tossed up in the air by his mum.
We then ventured into his nursery, which was lovingly designed by his mummy in the most beautiful tones and animal theme. Here Elijah and his mumma read a book and snuggled, as he started to get a bit more sleepy and snuggly.
